Cherry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients:
• 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
• 1 cup of all-purpose flour
• 2/3 cup of granulated sugar
• 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon of salt
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 1 21-ounce can of premium canned cherry pie filling
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grab a 9x9 inch baking dish or something similar and pop in the butter. Stick it in the oven to melt that butter down.
3. Once the butter's all melted, take the dish out of the oven.
4. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
5. In a measuring cup, pour in the milk and add that vanilla extract.
6. Pour the milk mix into the bowl of dry ingredients and give it a good stir until it's all mixed up.
7. Now, pour that batter over the melted butter in the baking dish, but don't go mixing them together.
8. Spoon that cherry pie filling on top of the batter. Don't stir it in, just let it sit on top.
9. Slide that dish into the oven and let it bake for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until it's got that golden brown look.
10. Once it's done, serve it up with some fresh whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for the ultimate cherry cobbler treat. Enjoy!
