Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients:

1 box brownie mix (18.3 oz), plus ingredients called for on the box

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the brownie mix box. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and spread it evenly in the prepared baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and spread it evenly.

Using a spoon, drop dollops of cherry pie filling onto the cream cheese layer.

Use a knife to gently swirl the cherry pie filling into the cream cheese layer, creating a marbled effect.

Bake in the preheated oven according to the brownie mix package instructions, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
